Listen to the inspiring original works of six featured poets from the region: Fred Marchant, Elizabeth Bradfield, John Bonanni, Catherine Staples, Jeffrey Harrison, and Jamele Adams. The evening will culminate in a short poetry writing exercise, and one lucky participant will receive a special prize!
This free event will take place over Zoom. Registration is required for this event, and will be available HERE beginning March 31st at 9:00am. Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite containing the Zoom ID and password.

Join us on Wednesday, February 24, for Thoreau and the Miracle of Poetry and hear four contemporary poets, who will read from their work that echoes Thoreau’s, often about nature, social reform, and living deliberately. A discussion with the featured poets about how Thoreau, among others, has inspired their writing will follow the readings.
